Description: Turtles are very wise to move slowly. Doing so helps make it easier to learn the yoga, dance, and gymnastics moves better. This children’s movement class is taught at a slower, gentler pace and is ideal for children who are new to yoga, dance, and gymnastics or need to move at an easier pace.

Equipment and Space Considerations: 

• clear a space of around 5’ x 7’

• have a chair handy nearby 

• if possible, have a wall space available with a width of around 3’ and height around 3 - 5’ 

• if possible, do the class on a rug, carpet or yoga mat

• have a water bottle nearby

• have a favorite stuffed animal, if available
