Mondays, 4:15 – 4:52pm, 3 – 5 year olds
Mondays, 5:05 – 5:50pm, 6 – 9 year olds
Fee: $300 for 15 classes. Checks may be made out to Keoni Movement Arts.

About the class: Children will be introduced to:
• Elemental yoga, dance and gymnastics movements
• Using a mini-trampoline
• Finding inner stillness with meditation and rest
• The joy of discovering new and fun ways the body can move in space with music

Teacher Bio: Paul Keoni Chun, KMA’s Founder, was a competitive gymnast at Stanford University (B.A. in Human Biology with emphasis in Aspects of Youth Socialization). He had a 20-year professional dance/acting career working with New York City based choreographers and performing in Off-Broadway and regional theaters and on television. Currently, he teaches yoga professionally in the leading NYC Health Clubs, including Reebok and Equinox. He’s had over 17 years of experience teaching movement to KIDS from 2 – 80+. As a result of the benefits that KMA’s work has provided for the community, NY1 News recognized him as a “New Yorker of the Week.”

ages 10 to young adult

WINTER/SPRING, 2013 – ’14 SESSION runs from 3/14/14 – 6/27/14 for 12 lessons

Who: Special Needs Individuals — 10 and older — who want to move
When: Fridays, 6 – 8pm
Fee: $120 for 12 classes. Checks may be made out to Keoni Movement Arts.

About the class: The class uses yoga, dance and gymnastics techniques to help individuals:
• Build coordination, strength, balance and an awareness of their space
• Learn to self-regulate
• Develop enhanced self-awareness
• Gain order and consistency with a regular class
• Gain social skills
